Free on-demand Webinar - Lactose Intolerance
On October 18th, the NDC Lactose Intolerance (LI) health professional (HP) program hosted a national HP webinar focused on LI in different ethnic minorities, highlighting African Americans and Hispanics, and the unintended health consequences of their dairy avoidance. The webinar, co-sponsored by Creighton University Continuing Medical Education, featured two members of NDC’s Speakers Bureau and experts on both minority health and lactose intolerance. Jeanette Newton-Keith, MD (a gastroenterologist) and Cecilia Pozo-Fileti, MS, RD, who presented research as well as practical tips for dairy consumption for those with LI.
